We had to start with literally seconds of alone time before building up. It took patience, but combining that training with paworigins worked much better than constantly trying different tricks every week.
we rescued our dog recently and he’s likely 10yo. When we leave he will bark and then chew the fur off his tail/hind end. We use trazadone when we leave and sometimes it’s not enough. At home he follows us around. We are working with getting him to stay and not follow and he started improving. Last night we were out for three hours and returned to him sleeping but with more fur missing. 😢
